Stuart Martin is a recognised leader in the UK space sector, currently serving as Chair of Space Solar, a trustee of the UK Space Agency, and as a board member of OceanMind. He was the founding CEO of the Satellite Applications Catapult, where he led the organisation for over a decade, playing a key role in establishing Harwell as a national hub for space innovation and helping to launch the UK’s first space-focused venture fund.
Prior to this, Stuart was a Partner at Logica (now CGI), where he led the company’s global space and satellite communications business. He has held senior governance roles across the sector, including Chair of the National Space Centre, council member of Eurospace, and Vice-Chair of UK Space. He has also served on the UK Space Leadership Council, advising on national space strategy. Stuart’s experience at the intersection of space technology, innovation, and public-private collaboration brings valuable strategic insight to OceanMind’s mission.
Before joining Satellite Applications Catapult as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer, Stephen was a Strategy Management Consultant at Accenture operating as a Senior Manager initially out of London and later as a Development Director in Beijing, China. Stephen has driven transformational change at the UK Hydrographic Office, Tesco, Dixons Carphone, Unilever, Accenture, British Airways, Siemens, China Mobile, the Environment Agency and Defra.
Stephen is experienced in developing growth strategies especially in emerging markets, increasing shareholder value, delivering organisational transformation, developing new operating models, finance strategy, M&A and post merger integration and strategic planning.
More recently he has led in strategic / financial roles within the UK Hydrographic Office and the Defra group.
Mikael Down is an Executive Director and Head of EMEA Sustainable Finance at a major global financial services firm, where he leads the development of new sustainable finance products, solutions, and partnerships across the region.
With a career spanning the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Mikael has played a leading role in shaping UK financial regulation and advancing ethical standards in financial services, through senior leadership roles at HM Treasury, the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Banking Standards Board. He has also led several initiatives to promote socio-economic diversity and inclusion within and across the sector.
Mikael is an Industry Professor at University College London, a Fellow at the Forward Institute, and sits on the Impact Investing Institute’s Advisory Council. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Ethics at the University of Leeds.
Noah Eden is the Global Lead for Cloud Innovation Centers at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this capacity, he oversees public-private partnerships with higher education institutions, with the goal of leveraging students to help public sector customers solve their most pressing issues using technology. With more than 18 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Noah engages government, nonprofit, and higher education leaders to help them employ Amazon’s internal innovation processes to address key organizational and societal challenges. During his time at AWS, he has served in a variety of innovation, public sector, and social impact roles, including as AWS’ Global Lead for Disaster Response.
Before joining AWS, Noah led a global team that worked to ensure customers have a trusted shopping experience when purchasing products on Amazon.com. Prior to Amazon, Noah spent more than a decade leading national security policy and strategy initiatives at the Department of State, Department of Defense, Department of the Treasury, and the National Counterterrorism Center, where he provided direct support to the National Security Council and the White House.
Noah brings a passion for public sector innovation and a mission-first mindset to his work. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Speech Communication.
Leyla Mattison is an internationally recognized branding strategist and the founder of Beyond Agency, a consultancy specializing in global brand development and narrative strategy.
Over the past two decades, she has held senior roles at Fox Kids Europe, Walt Disney, and fashion brand Christian Lacroix, where she led the launch of the Home & Lifestyle division and global partnerships with iconic names, including Sephora, Evian, and Air France.
A Paris native, Leyla brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her work, blending European sophistication with global business acumen. Her passion lies in helping brands uncover their authentic voice, connect with their audiences, and create a lasting emotional impact.
A sought-after speaker, she has advised clients in Paris, London, New York, and Sarajevo, and supports national branding initiatives, most recently through her work with USAID’s on repositioning Bosnia & Herzegovina’s global image.

As founder of OceanMind, Nick uses satellites and AI to protect the ocean from damaging human impacts. As one of the founding members of Climate TRACE alongside former Vice President Al Gore, Nick applies advanced technology to inform emissions reductions in the maritime sector. As a DRK social entrepreneur, GLG social impact fellow, member of the Morgan Stanley Sustainable Solutions Collaborative, and trustee of Social Tech Trust, Nick advises and mentors boards, business leaders, and entrepreneurs on managing climate, nature, and social risks. Nick believes technology is a vital tool in supporting people to solve the polycrisis and deliver a healthy planet to our children.
