Stuart Martin is a recognised leader in the UK space sector, currently serving as Chair of Space Solar, a trustee of the UK Space Agency, and as a board member of OceanMind. He was the founding CEO of the Satellite Applications Catapult, where he led the organisation for over a decade, playing a key role in establishing Harwell as a national hub for space innovation and helping to launch the UK’s first space-focused venture fund.

Prior to this, Stuart was a Partner at Logica (now CGI), where he led the company’s global space and satellite communications business. He has held senior governance roles across the sector, including Chair of the National Space Centre, council member of Eurospace, and Vice-Chair of UK Space. He has also served on the UK Space Leadership Council, advising on national space strategy.  Stuart’s experience at the intersection of space technology, innovation, and public-private collaboration brings valuable strategic insight to OceanMind’s mission.
